Digitalization Product Manager (m/f/d)

Within the Robotics Business Unit, Hamilton develops and produces pipetting robots for the automation of liquid handling processes; from standard solutions to highly complex systems that are precisely tailored to the needs of our customers. Our customers come from a wide range of research and development backgrounds. This ranges from the pharmaceutical and food industries, all the way to cell and DNA research.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and further-develop the digital transformation for the launches of specific digital products for the Robotics Business Unit
  • Assess and integrate IoT products into the Hamilton Robotics Product Portfolio
  • Elaborate and present smart product visions and product proposals (i.e. formal Product Proposals)
  • Maintain close contact with stakeholders, in order to identify and prioritize various needs
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communication department
  • Collaborate on the creation of requirements specifications, in close cooperation with the product owner in Requirements Engineering
  • Continuously monitor product success, in accordance with defined success factors (post-market surveillance)
  • Coordinate digitalization strategy and software development with the US headquarters (Reno, Nevada)

Qualifications

  • Completed BSc / Masters studies in Computational and Data Science or Computer Science
  • Experience in Robotics and Automation
  • An initiative-taking, communicative and team-oriented personality, who enjoys working within interdisciplinary teams
  • Personality with a high degree of assertiveness and persuasiveness
  • Reliable and independent; sense of responsibility and has organizational skills
  • Fluent in German and English (both oral and written)
