One of the top 10 Asset Managers by AUMs is looking for an analyst to be part of their investor services team in Geneva. The company offers a very dynamic culture, with the opportunity to work closely together with an international team in the local office and abroad. Besides daily overseeing of fund activity the position entails making proposals to increase efficiency and onboarding of new clients.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Maintaining orderly and properly the SalesForceDC database to generate leads and relevant information (by region, municipality, client type, etc.) for the development activity of the BDA-BDMs
  • Generating and preparing for prospecting meetings with BDA-BDMs and following-up on any items
  • Making outbound calls to introduce Capital and secure meetings with prospects
  • Representing Capital at industry conferences / seminars, ensuring we maximise prospecting opportunities by preparing thoroughly prior to the event, proactively networking during the event and diligently following up afterwards
  • Handling prospect requests for information through multiple channels (inbound calls, web searches etc)
  • Liaison with Investment Professionals, other Financial Intermediary BDMs, BDAs and internal departments (Client Service, Marketing, Fee Consulting, RFP team, Legal etc) as part of the sales cycle
  • Maintaining information on prospects, target institutions and updating critical management information about prospects and clients into the required systems
  • Coordination and occasional customisation of materials for use with prospects to create interest and build relationships

Skills/qualifications:

  • Language skills: Swiss German (native) and English (fluent)
  • Financial / Investment and Asset Management knowledge
  • High quality interpersonal skills, especially influencing and communication skills
  • High energy, hard-working, enthusiastic, focused and professional
  • Comfortable discussing financial topics (product and asset class characteristics, macro themes etc)
  • Graduate degree preferable
  • Related professional exams or studying towards CFA preferable
