For our client we are looking for a

SAP Senior BI Solution Architect (m/w)

Your challenge

  • Lead and manage the IT technical reporting team (focused on SAP BW/4 HANA and SAP SAC) in the various locations (currently mainly Taiwan and Switzerland)

  • Lead and manage Reporting/SAP project implementation teams comprising of consulting and internal resources at different business units and sites.

  • Create and manage complex enterprise-wide project plans and lead activities to manage scope, budget, dependencies, risks and schedules for Reporting/SAP projects.

  • Run Fit/Gap and Design workshops and execute project activities to educate site business colleagues on standardized and global template processes and reporting functions

  • Work with site business colleagues and global business process owners to define business requirements and use cases for localizations

  • Design and document solution alternatives that aligns with local business requirements, global template processes, and architectural principles leveraging industry and business best practices

  • Collaborate with members of other Process and SAP and IT teams to configure the defined solutions

  • Develop functional specifications for configuration and customization which include reports, integrations, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows

  • Participate in transitioning the requirements, functional specifications, and use cases to the developers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the knowledge is being transitioned

  • Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for functional, integration, user acceptance and performance testing

  • Perform functional acceptance testing execution after development completion

  • Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, and upgradable for next generation solutions

  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to support the future of our Reporting and Business Intelligence landscape


Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or business informatics study

  • Hands-on technical skills of BW/4 HANA and SAC development

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong knowledge in analytics of industry practices, like different measured profitability and efficiency approaches

  • Comprehensive understanding of the underlying business processes and value flows in finance, production and supply chain

  • Sound communication and presentation skills, must be able to convey information in a clear and effective manner

  • Networking, team-working and leadership skills
